Safe Distancing Advisory

Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo are advising residents that we are still in a state of emergency and safeguarding practices are still in affect.

Nutley Police have responded to multiple locations to remind residents that they must maintain a distance of 6’ or more from others.

Although business owners have been placing distance markers, signage and protective barriers, it is everyone’s responsibility to keep away from each other.

Chief Strumolo reminds residents about discarding their masks and gloves after use. He also advises that if the practice of safe distancing is not adhered to officers will be issuing summonses.

Director Petracco said we are all in this together and everyone needs to do their part.
