Mayor Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo announce on February 25, 2016 the Nutley Police Department will be a hosting a town-wide Neighborhood Watch / Crime Prevention meeting to present crime prevention information along with an open forum for residents to speak about any community concerns they have.  The meeting will begin with a short presentation on common scams going on around the area including how to prevent income tax fraud and information on the IRS phone and email scam.  After the presentation there will be an open forum for residents to ask questions and speak with officers and detectives.  Chief Strumolo stated this is a great opportunity for our residents to come   meet our officers and speak in a less formal atmosphere. We have a great partnership and relationship with our residents and these types of meetings allow us to work together with the residents to help prevent and solve crime in our community. Mayor Petracco urges all residents to come out and participate. This is a great opportunity for residents to come out and interact with officers and be our partner in keeping Nutley safe.
