The Township of Nutley welcomed employees, students, and partners from the ON3 campus to Nichols Park for its eighth annual Welcome to Nutley Day, an event celebrating the connection between the Township, its local businesses, and the growing ON3 community.

Held across from the ON3 campus, the event brought together representatives from leading ON3 organizations including Eisai Pharmaceuticals, Seton Hall University’s Interprofessional Health Sciences Campus, Modern Meadow, Ralph Lauren, Hackensack Meridian Health’s Center for Discovery and Innovation, Y-mAbs Therapeutic, Reckitt and Prism Capital Partners for an afternoon of food, entertainment, and community engagement.

Over 30 Nutley restaurants, businesses, and community vendors participated, offering guests a chance to discover local dining options, services, and giveaways. DJ Rob Frannicola provided music throughout the event.

"This annual event serves as a vital bridge between our community and the ON3 campus introducing local shops and dining spots to more than 4,000 professionals, students, and faculty members.” Commissioner Dr. Joseph P. Scarpelli said. “Beyond the excitement of the event itself, our deeper goal is to highlight the unique charm and value of Nutley’s vibrant local business community."

Commissioner Scarpelli thanked Mayor and fellow Commissioners, DJ Rob Frannicola, Lisa Zitola, and the Township Department of Public Works for their work in organizing and supporting the event.

"By giving our ON3 neighbors a firsthand taste of what Nutley has to offer,” Scarpelli added, “we hope to create connections that translate into year-round support for our local merchants and restaurants."
