Mayor John V. Kelly, III and the Nutley Board of Commissioners are pleased to announce the plans for the Township of Nutley’s 2026 July 4th celebration scheduled for Saturday, July 4, beginning at 6:00 pm.
“As in previous years, Nutley will be the destination to celebrate our nation's historic 250th birthday,” commented Mayor Kelly. “We are looking forward to continuing our time-honored tradition of celebrating our nation's birth with family friendly entertainment, food, and of course, fireworks!,”
Food vendors will line Franklin Avenue and Ultimate Entertainment will be on hand to provide music and games. Face painters, magicians and balloon artists will also be in attendance. The fireworks are scheduled to start at dusk.
TRAFFIC ALERT: Franklin Avenue will be closed between Chestnut and Church St. beginning at 3:30pm and will not reopen until cleanup is finished. Please use caution while traveling in this area.
