Commissioner Scarpelli would like to thank the residents of Nutley for their patience and cooperation during this week as we dealt with the consequences of the Passaic Valley Water repair located in Clifton.

Over the last 24 hours the pressure in our water system has stabilized. The repair has not been completed as of today. Therefore, voluntary water restrictions are still in effect until further notice.

Special thank you to our DPW and Water Department for keeping us within compliance pressure norms during this time.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update the community as necessary.
