Water Pressure Advisory and Restrictions - June 1, 2026
Passaic Valley Water is currently experiencing an issue in Clifton that is affecting water pressure throughout the Township.
To help maintain the integrity of our water system and preserve adequate pressure for fire protection and emergency response, we have instituted temporary water restrictions effective immediately.
We ask all residents and businesses to refrain from any unnecessary water usage, including:
  • Watering lawns and landscaping
  • Washing vehicles
  • Filling pools
  • Any other non-essential outdoor water use
The Township is actively taking steps to increase system pressure and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
