Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci Announces Spring 2026 Sports Clinics

Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks & Recreation are excited to announce the Spring lineup of Sports Clinics designed to keep residents active, engaged, and moving. These clinics offer fun, age-appropriate instruction while helping participants build skills, confidence, and a love for staying active.

The upcoming Sports Clinics include Pickleball Lessons, Tennis Lessons, K–2 Hoops, and Peanut Soccer. Each program is led by knowledgeable instructors and is structured to emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game in a supportive environment.

These clinics are a great opportunity for participants of all skill levels to learn new sports or strengthen existing abilities, while also promoting healthy habits and physical activity from an early age.

“Regular exercise plays a vital role in the growth and development of our children,” said Commissioner Tucci. “These sports clinics are not only about learning the fundamentals of each sport, but also about encouraging an active lifestyle, building confidence, and helping our kids develop healthy habits that will benefit them well beyond the playing field.”

Registration details, schedules, and additional information for each clinic can be found in the individual program flyers. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Online registration is available at https://register.communitypass.net/nutley or applications are available at the Recreation Department, 44 Park Ave. Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
