Zumba Fitness Classes

The Department of Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the return of Zumba Fitness classes for adults, offering residents a fun, high-energy way to stay active and healthy. We are happy to once again bring this popular program back to the community, welcoming adults of all fitness levels to join in.

Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, making it easy to fit movement and exercise into busy schedules. Zumba blends upbeat music with dynamic dance-inspired routines, creating an engaging workout that feels more like a celebration than a traditional fitness class.

“Zumba is a fantastic way for adults to prioritize their health while having fun,” said Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci. “We’re thrilled to bring this program back because it not only promotes physical fitness, but also boosts energy, confidence, and overall well-being. It’s a great opportunity for residents to move, connect, and invest in a healthier lifestyle.”

Regular participation in Zumba can help improve cardiovascular health, increase strength and coordination, reduce stress, and enhance mood. The social and energizing atmosphere also encourages consistency, making it easier to maintain an active lifestyle long-term.

Residents interested in participating are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.

Online registration is available at  https://register.communitypass.net/nutley or applications are available at the Recreation Department, 44 Park Ave. Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
