There is a water main break on CEDAR STREET (between Bloomfield Ave and Ridge Rd).  Residents and businesses in the area may have discolored water and low water pressure.

Brown water occurs when the flow of water in the mains is altered. That can occur from unauthorized use of fire hydrants, firefighting, or a water main break. Please note that even though it is discolored, the water is still safe.

The break should be repaired shortly and water pressure will be restored.

Please run your cold water for 10-15 minutes, or until the water runs clear, to resolve any discoloration. Do not use hot water until the cold water has cleared.
