Township of Nutley’s Sets 4th of July Celebration

Mayor John V. Kelly, III and the Nutley Board of Commissioners are pleased to announce the Township's 4th of July festivities scheduled for Friday July 4, beginning at 6:00 pm.

“On July 4, as in previous years, Nutley is the destination to celebrate our nation's birthday! We are looking forward to continuing the Nutley tradition of celebrating our nation's birth with family friendly entertainment, and of course, fireworks!”, commented Mayor Kelly.

Food vendors will line Franklin Avenue and UltimateEntertainment will be on hand to provide music and games. Face painters and balloon artists will also be in attendance. Nutley native Eric Sebek will perform the National Anthem to kick off the amazing firework display. The fireworks are scheduled to start at dusk.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Franklin Avenue will be closed between Chestnut and Church St. beginning at 3:30pm and will not reopen until cleanup is finished.  Please use caution while traveling in this area.
