Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci and the Nutley Department of Parks & Recreation are currently accepting Recreation Basketball registration forms for the 2023-2024 season. This program is open to Nutley youngsters in grades 3 through 8.
Youngsters will participate on teams that compete in a recreational league format. Teams are grouped in divisions by grade. Boys and girls will play in separate leagues.
The philosophy of this program is to provide ample playing time for all participants, teach the fundamentals of individual and team play, and encourage sportsmanship. “The most important aspect of this program is for the young players to get positive exposure to this lifetime activity,” stated Commissioner Tucci.
