Commissioner John V. Kelly, III Announces 2023 Women's History Month Events in Celebration of Women's History Month

In recognition of Women’s History Month 2023, Commissioner John V. Kelly, III, and the Nutley Department of Public Affairs and Health announce in partnership with the Nutley Public Schools and the Women’s Networking Group a calendar of exciting upcoming events.

Together we recognize and celebrate the many successful roles that women have taken on over the years in our state and in our Township through educational, sports, entertaining and business entrepreneurship. “We have put together a wonderful calendar of events featuring some very unique programs.  These programs will, no doubt, inspire, captivate, entertain and enlighten us all,” said John V. Kelly, III.  The Commissioner went on to add that he hopes all residents of Nutley, as well as neighboring communities, will take advantage of these wonderful events.

The 2023 Women’s History Month line up of events includes:

March 8th

Meet & Greet Kickoff Reception
Nutley Museum – 65 Church Street, Nutley
6:00 PM – 8:00PM

March 17th

Dynamic Women’s History Month Panel  
Nutley High School – 300  Franklin Avenue, Nutley
9:00AM-10:00AM FRESHMAN STUDENTS

Tina Cervasio – FOX News Sports Reporter
Betsy Montane – Wrestling referee Montclair State University
Lieutenant Colonel Lapidow – Lawyer and Combat Engineer/Combat Veteran/JAG/Army Officer

 

 

March 21st

Women’s Health and Professional Career Panel
Nutley High School – 300  Franklin Avenue, Nutley
6:30PM – 8:30PM

Join us for a fun discussion as we get to learn about select Women’s Health Topics as well as various careers from a group of many professional women and their lives as business owners. This night is sure to entertain and inspire!

 

 

March 28th

Sip and Shop - Women’s Networking Reception
160 Franklin Avenue
6:30 PM – 9:30PM

Women Owned Businesses will be in attendance to introduce, promote and or demonstrate their products and various services & goods.
