Nutley Police Warning - April 4, 2022

Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo are warning parents and juveniles that motorized vehicles are NOT permitted to ride along the Public Service Utility Property.

Chief Strumolo advises that this property is private and anyone who is on it risks being charged with defiant trespassing. In addition to being summoned for unregistered/uninsured and unlicensed, they are also at risk of impoundment and delayed licensing by DMV.

Director Petracco said that we are concerned for the safety of the children as well as the neighbors that risk hitting them when crossing streets. He said PSEG has signage posted no trespassing and we have to enforce a violation when observed. Please refrain from using these power lines for ATV and motocross use.
