Mayor Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks and Recreation are pleased to announce that Yoga for Kids registration is now available.  This program is for Nutley toddlers ages 3 – 5 and will run for 6 weeks. In Yoga for Kids children will practice yoga postures and breathing exercises that will instill long-term goals and benefits. Without realizing it, children are learning techniques to help their bodies become healthier, stronger and more relaxed. “We are introducing quality toddler programs that will enhance the development and listening skills of children ages 3-5” stated Mayor Tucci.

Yoga for kids is a discipline that can lead children on the path toward a calm and balance mind, as well as help them to build a strong and flexible body.  Benefits of yoga will include:  Increase strength and flexibility, build self-esteem, promote self discipline, teach calmness and self control and much more.
