Mayor Tucci Invites Residents to Hop Along For Some Easter Fun!

The coronavirus may have changed some traditional events for Nutley residents but it won’t get in the way of a little Easter egg-citement for 2021. We are continuously thinking of safe and creative alternatives for our community to enjoy some holiday fun” stated Mayor Mauro G. Tucci.

The Nutley Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled the Easter Eggstravaganza for Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  This event will take place adjacent to the Parks and Recreation Building located at 44 Park Ave.   This event is open to Nutley residents only.  Families are welcome to join us for a friendly farm drive-thru zoo featuring goats, an alpaca, donkey, baby cow, bunnies, ducks and chickens!!  Children will also be greeted by special guest the Easter Bunny himself who will be handing out eggs to each car.  There will be no direct contact with the animals or Easter Bunny, although you may drive close to the pens. Out of an abundance of caution for our guests and employees, you will be asked to remain in your vehicle for the duration of your time at the event.

The rain date for this event will be April 2nd.  If you have questions or need further information please contact the Department of Parks and Recreation at 973-284-4966.
