SUMMARY:"Movie Under the Stars" - Moana 2
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Parks and Recreation is thrilled to present this year’s “Movie Under the Stars”! Gather your family and friends, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and enjoy the magic of an outdoor movie night. Much like a drive-in, the film will be shown on a giant inflatable screen set up in the grass field at Glotzbach Park, 44 Park Avenue. Don’t miss this fun-filled evening of community entertainment! The selection for 2025 is “MOANA 2”.  Join Moana, now older and wiser, as she sets sail on her greatest journey yet. Called by her wayfinding ancestors to explore the dangerous, long-lost waters of Oceania, Moana reunites with Maui and a new crew of seafarers to face a threat unlike any she’s encountered before.  “Our goal is to create a welcoming family environment where residents can come together and share quality time,” stated Commissioner Tucci. Children learn the value of family from the time they spend with their own. While family is the single most important part of our lives, the demands of busy work schedules, growing responsibilities, and children’s activities often make it difficult to connect. That’s why it’s so important to pause and take time to enjoy the present. “As recreation professionals, we have the privilege of helping preserve and strengthen these values,” Commissioner Tucci continued. “By focusing our efforts on family-centered recreation, we can be a positive force in the lives of our residents and the entire community.” Event Details: Location: Glotzbach Park, 44 Park Avenue Date: Friday, October 10, 2025 Refreshments: Available for purchase starting at 6:30 p.m. Showtime: 7:30 p.m. If you need further information on this event, please contact the Recreation Department at (973)284-4966, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
