SUMMARY:Essex County Computer and Electronics Recycling Day
DESCRIPTION:The ECUA Computer and Electronics (e-Waste) Recycling Days allow Essex County residents to bring unwanted electronics to a single location for responsible, safe recycling to remove lead and other dangerous chemicals from the waste stream. Items accepted include computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners, telecom equipment, speakers, televisions, keyboards, main frames, VCRs, stereos, DVD players, toasters, irons and cellular telephones. Residents are not charged any fees to have their items recycled. Acceptable Materials  Computers Monitors Printers Telecom Equipment Fax Machines Speakers Main Frames DVD Players Old Cellular Telephones Scanners Televisions Keyboards VCRs Stereos Toasters Irons  Unacceptable Materials  Microwave Ovens Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Alarms*  *These products should be returned to their manufacturer. Commercial and Large Quantity Users May Not Drop Off Items.
