Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks and Recreation announce the addition of  “Happily Ever Crafter’s” to the list of toddler recreation programs this fall.

This class will be a fun way to build early literacy skills, creativity, and social skills. Each class will include an entertaining story read aloud, a craft to coincide with our story, and some songs or an activity.  Each activity is planned around the child’s developmental stages and differentiated accordingly. This class will demonstrate how a book is held, opened and how the pages are turned. These are important skills for children to learn how to model and act out on their own.

This program is open to Nutley children ages 18 months to 3 years old and will be held at the Recreation Annex Building located at 65 Bloomfield Ave.  The program will be held on Wednesday mornings for six weeks beginning September 11, 2019.  The fee is $30.00 per child. Please note:  CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED!

Online registration is available at https://register.communitypass.net/nutley or forms may be returned to the Parks & Recreation Department located at 44 Park Ave.

For further information on this program please contact the Recreation Department at 973-284-4966, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
