Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci is pleased to announce the return of Nutley’s Fishing Derby, inviting children and families to enjoy a morning of outdoor fun at Memorial Park (Mud Hole) on Saturday, May 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The derby is open exclusively to Nutley residents in grades 1 through 8 and welcomes young anglers of all skill levels to participate in this popular community tradition.
Participants will compete for special prizes, including:
“The Fishing Derby is a wonderful opportunity for our children to spend time outdoors, enjoy nature, and create lasting memories with family and friends,” stated Commissioner Tucci. “We are excited to bring this tradition back to Memorial Park and look forward to seeing our young residents enjoy a fun and friendly morning together.”
The event encourages sportsmanship, community engagement, and outdoor recreation in a safe and welcoming environment.
