Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci, Commissioner Alphonse Petracco and the Board of Commissioners are excited to bring back our full Summer Concert Series starting with  Danny V’s 52 Street Band, A Billy Joel Tribute band. This event promises to be jam-packed with fun for everyone from young to old! Be sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, June 27, 2024.

The Summer Fest will take place on Franklin Avenue between Chestnut St. and New St. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until approximately 10:00 p.m.  

This is the first of three concerts in our 2024 “summer series”.  Danny V’s 52nd Street Band is celebrating over 25 years as the Longest Running Tribute to the Piano Man, Billy Joel! Their longevity is a result of giving Billy Joel fans the best concert performance experience that includes the mega hits such as Piano Man, Tell Her About It, Uptown Girl, Only the Good Die Young and every major Billy Joel hit. This promises to be a fantastic experience!

“This event helps promote our local establishments and food trucks, while bringing the community together for some summer family fun” stated Commissioner Tucci. We will be offering fabulous food trucks such as Emilio’s Wood Fire Pizza, Angry Archies delectable goodies, and much more! 

The smell of zeppole’s and kettle corn will fill the air as we gear up for the summer season.  And don’t leave the kids behind because we’re bringing on the games!  A Gaming Trailer, which is a 32’ long video trailer complete with Xbox, Playstation, Wii U and Nintendo Switch gaming systems, Laser Lights and kickin' sound inside to pump up the party, and neon lighting outside for night fun!  Kids blow ups, face painting, a balloon twister and more will also be available for youngsters to enjoy! 

Nutley prides itself on its strong sense of community involvement. The SUMMER FEST is the highlight event of the season.  Bring your family, friends and neighbors on Thursday, June 27, 2024 and experience the spirit and unity that makes Nutley an extraordinary place.  Whether you come to see old friends or to listen to the great sounds of music, don’t miss this one of a kind event.  A rain date has been scheduled for June 28th .
