Please be advised that the NW meeting will be held tonight, Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 in the court room in the Department of Public Safety.

The purpose of this next meeting will be to discuss the roles members will take, either as Block Captains, or as general members. Block Captains will be responsible for overseeing their neighborhood and will be the central contact person for that particular area. They will receive as well as disseminate important information about suspected crime activity.  In addition to Block Captains, there will be general Neighborhood Watch members who represent the eyes and ears of our community and are therefore a critical part of this program.

At this month’s meeting we will discuss what role you can take in protecting the Township of Nutley.

We are looking for members that can:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date lists of neighbors
• Knock on doors and obtain information for our (data sheet)
• Host meeting for their community/block etc. 
• Disseminate information provided by police to your friends and neighbors

We will also be addressing questions or concerns that are relevant to keeping Nutley Safe.
