Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci, Commissioner Alphonse Petracco and the Board of Commissioners have collaborated to bring Nutley the “Franklin Spring Festival”. This event promises to be jam-packed with fun for everyone from young to old!! Be sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, June 16, 2016.

The Franklin Spring Festival will take place on Franklin Ave, between New Street and Stager Street and will begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until approximately 10:00 p.m. 

Franklin Ave will be on fire with America’s #1 Show Band “The Inferno’s. “We’re bringing the biggest show band in the business back to Nutley to help us kick off our spring event season” stated Commissioner Tucci.  The one and only fabulous “Inferno’s” will take the stage and entertain residents for an evening that will be nothing less than magical. Nutley’s own Michael Roselli will be joining the line-up of fabulous performers along with “Total Soul”.  This Motown, R&B, Soul and Classic Disco style group, perform the hit songs of the great artists from the sixties through today.  Their vocal front will mesmerize audiences with slick dance moves and smooth harmonies. Listen to the music of The Temptations, The Four Tops, Alicia Keys and more!!!

“This event helps promote our local restaurants and food establishments while bringing the community together for some spring family fun” stated Commissioner Tucci.  Local restaurants will provide outdoor dining and cocktails throughout the concert.   The smell of  zeppoles and gourmet crepes will fill the air as we gear up for the spring season.  And don’t leave the kids behind because we’re bringing on the games!  A Gaming Trailer, which is a 32’ long video trailer complete with Xbox, Wii, Wii U and PS4 gaming systems, Laser Lights and kickin' sound inside to pump up the party, and neon lighting outside for night fun!  Kids blow ups, face painting, air brush artists and more will also be available for youngsters to enjoy! “Our goal is to create an experience that entices people to come to Nutley and see what we really have to offer” stated Commissioner Petracco.

Nutley prides itself on its strong sense of community involvement.
