Learn from nationally acclaimed expert Dr. Jill Williams what makes a teenage brain work. Not only will Dr. Williams explain the inner workings of the teenage brain, but she will also provide the latest research and information on trends in teen substance use including vaping and use of marijuana and how it may affect the teenage brain. With the legalization of marijuana on the near horizon this becomes critically important.

This session will:

  1. Review basic mechanisms of brain development
  2. Discuss current trends in youth substance use and misuse

The workshop is geared towards parents, educators and policy makers
