Performances will be held at the Nutley High School Auditorium, 300 Franklin Avenue, for 3 performances, June 8th 9th and 10th.   Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for students and seniors.   Showtime’s for Friday and Saturday are 7:30 pm.  Sunday matinee is at 2:00 pm.  Tickets are available at Parks and Recreation building 44 Park Ave. For further information on the show please contact the Department of Parks and Recreation at 973-284-4966.

This show features a cast of the best and brightest Nutley youth in grades 3rd-High School. Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek the Musical Jr. based on the Oscar Winning Dream Works Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical.   It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find acceptance.   Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek Jr. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
