The Nutley Health Department, in partnership with Community Blood Services, is holding a blood drive in honor of our very dear friend, Nutley resident and business owner, Keith Jaret. Keith is also in desperate need of a liver transplant. The NJ Sharing Network will be on hand to raise awareness, answer questions and sign up any interested individuals regarding tissue and organ donation.
Blood donors participating with Nutley Department of Public Affairs in cooperation with Community Blood Services will help to ensure that the transfusion needs of area patients are met. The Gift of Life Community blood drive is being held at:

Healthy individuals age 17 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood; 16 and 17year-olds must have signed parental consent forms (available at www.communitybloodservices.com) and proof of birth date. Donors should eat a moderate meal before donating and must bring identification showing signature.
All donors will receive a free cholesterol screening and can access “DONOR EXPRESS” (www.communitybloodservices.com) to complete their health questionnaire in the privacy of their own home, school or office ( DONOR EXPRESS can only be used on the same day of your donation).
