Vegetation Extension and Updates for 2026

Please take note of the following updates and guidelines regarding vegetative waste collection for 2025-2026:

Seasonal Collection Schedule

Final Collection for the Current Season: Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Collection Resumes: April 2026

Christmas Tree Collection

Christmas trees will be collected every Wednesday throughout January 2026.

Important Reminder

Vegetative waste placed with regular garbage will not be picked up
during the non-collection period (January through early April 2026).

Vegetation Collection Schedule and Guidelines

Please use the green vegetation carts provided by the Township.

As per the new trash removal contract, only vegetation placed in the green vegetation carts provided by the Township will be collected, with the exception of the following: 

  • APRIL – vegetation cart contents, bundled sticks, branches and small limbs, and brown biodegradable leaf bags, placed outside or alongside the carts. (branches should be no longer than 4’ in length and weighing no more than 35lbs)
  • MAY/SEPTEMBER – vegetation carts only – nothing will be picked up outside of the carts – no leaf bags should be left outside the carts
  • OCTOBER/DECEMBER – vegetation carts along with brown biodegradable leaf bags
REMINDER – soil/dirt, rocks, concrete or concrete blocks, and mulch will not be collected at any time.
