Mayor Cocchiola Announces 2010 Women’s Initiative Programs in Celebration of Women’s History Month
Nutley, New Jersey – Mayor Joanne Cocchiola and the Women’s Initiative of Nutley (WIN) recently announced their plans to once again celebrate the lives and accomplishments of women during Women’s History Month this coming March, 2010. The mission of WIN, formed by the Mayor in 2002, is to celebrate the many successful roles that women have taken on over the years in our state and in our Township through educational and entertaining programs.
“March is a time for celebration, and is a wonderful month for women of Nutley,” quoted Mayor Joanne Cocchiola. It’s a time to showcase the unique talents of our mothers, sisters, girlfriends and neighbors. I hope that everyone enjoys the programs that the WIN committee has worked so hard to put together,” added Cocchiola.
