Camp Nutley Spring Recess Now Open for Registration

Commissioner Mauro G Tucci and the Nutley Department of Parks and Recreation announce the popular Vacation Camp Nutley program is now available for the Spring Recess, April 15-19, 2013.  “We recognize how difficult it has become for working parents to provide a safe, fun environment for youngsters during the school recess sessions. Therefore, we have implemented a vacation camp to provide an opportunity for youngsters to partake in physical activity in a secure environment”, stated Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci.  We have designed a program with an exciting curriculum and extended hours to accommodate every busy parent’s schedule.

 The program is conveniently located at the Parks & Recreation Department, 44 Park Ave.   This location in beneficial to parents and provides extended facilities such as the recreation gym, Owens and Glotzbach Park, the hockey rink, tennis courts and more.  A special trip will be scheduled during this session. The deadline to register for this program is April 12. 

 The fee per session is $145.00 per child. This fee includes a special trip and lunch on April 17th to Wallington Lanes.  The hours of operation will be 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Online registration is also available at www.nutleynj.org.
