Girls Recreation Softball and Travel Softball Registration Now Open for 2013 Season

Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci announces the Department of Parks and Recreation is currently accepting applications for the 2013 Girls Softball Program and Travel Softball Program.  These programs are open to Nutley Girls and will create a positive softball experience through the education of the sport, stressing the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship, and fun!!!  Young ladies will learn to set goals, learn discipline to do the work to meet those goals and also how to handle defeat and victory in acceptable manners.

The fee for the Recreation Softball Program is $35.00 per youngster. The fee for the Travel Softball Program is $40.00 per youngster.  Please note: Try-outs are required for Travel Softball (see printable flyer for dates and grades)  Online registration is available at www.nutleynj.org or applications are available at the Recreation Department, 44 Park Ave.  The deadline for Recreation Softball Registration is March 18, 2013 and the deadline for Travel Softball is March 1, 2013
