PURPOSE:
The Township of Nutley is seeking funding through the State of New Jersey Green Acres Park Development Program for improvements at Monsignor Owens Park, located in the Township of Nutley, New Jersey. The proposed project will focus on the construction and upgrade of ADA-compliant restroom facilities and related park-supportive improvements to better serve residents and visitors.
PROJECT SCOPE:
The Township of Nutley proposes constructing new and upgraded ADA-compliant restroom facilities at Monsignor Owens Park. The project may also incorporate minor upgrades to the surrounding area, sustainable and green design elements, including water-efficient fixtures, energy-efficient systems, and environmentally responsible materials. The proposed project includes new and upgraded ADA-compliant restroom facilities to better support park users and improve accessibility, safety, and overall park usability. Community feedback is an important part of the Green Acres application process, and residents are encouraged to participate by completing a short online survey.

The survey will be available from December 26, 2025 through January 5, 2026. All responses will be reviewed and considered as the Township finalizes the project scope prior to the required public hearing.
