KNOCK OUT OPIOID ABUSE
Save the Date & Participate!

On October 6, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Commissioner Alphonse Petracco and the Department of Public Safety invites the Township of Nutley citizens TO WALK TOGETHER TO KNOCK OUT OPIOID ABUSE!
 
Walk Leaders and their teams will distribute informational door hangers on homes throughout Nutley to raise awareness of the potential for dependency on prescribed pain medicine and its link to heroin abuse in New Jersey. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Here is how it will work the day of the event:  All participants must register by October 1, 2017

  1. 3:00 pm - Walk Leaders and Teams will meet at the parking lot of one of the 5 Elementary Schools
  2. 3:00 – 3:30pm - Walk Leaders will share their teams’ ‘walk map’ and hand out door hangers.
  3. 3:30 – 5:00 pm - Walk Teams will proceed to streets on their ‘walk map’ & place door hangers on every door.
