One Bad Decision

October 2011 - This presentation featured minimum custody  young adult and adult offenders who made "one bad decision" that changed their lives forever. Whether it was drunk driving resulting in a death or  giving pills to a friend that overdosed, their promising lives are now challenged by imprisonment and lifelong criminal records. The inmates’ compelling stories hit a raw nerve in every parent and teen especially since some of the young offenders are football players, band members, cheerleaders- kids from every walk of life.... our kids! Teens listen to their stories and realize that the decisions they make can be life altering and hopefully come away from this presentation rethinking some of the things they may do.
