Recreation Summer Soccer Clinic Scheduled

Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks and Recreation are pleased to announce the Summer Recreation Soccer Clinic for Nutley youngsters in grades 1 through 6.  This program will be held July 31st  through August 3rd at Glotzbach Field from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m..  The fee for this program is $50.00 per child. 

Participants of all skill levels will spend time learning fundamentals of the game such as dribbling, passing, heading and shooting from our  professional staff.  “The mission of the Recreation Summer Sports Clinics are to provide a high quality, low-cost alternative for those young athletes in Nutley grades 1 through 6, who wish to improve their athletic skills and knowledge during the summer” stated Commissioner Tucci.

A special focus of the camp is to provide each participant with an understanding of what should be practiced over the rest of the summer to become a better player. Participants must have shin guards and bring a water bottle. All clinics are held rain or shine    Participating in sports makes children healthier and happier.  So join us for a summer of sports fun.
