Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci, Commissioner Alphonse Petracco and the Board of Commissioners have collaborated to bring Nutley the “Franklin Spring Festival”. This event promises to be jam-packed with fun for everyone from young to old!! Be sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, June 15, 2017.

The Franklin Spring Festival will take place on Franklin Ave, between Vreeland and High Street and will begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until approximately 10:00 p.m.

Our first performance will be Jersey Sound, one of the Tri State Area's premier oldies band, known for its versatility and talented members. Jersey Sound is putting its own spin on the music industry by giving people a combination of music genres creating delectable sounds the ear can only imagine. These incredibly talented musicians and singers come from different musical backgrounds to form one of New Jersey's most requested bands. They offer an eclectic blend of classic Oldies, Classic Rock, Motown, R&B, British Invasion and Pop.

Our next performance One Stop Pony Band is the most unique tribute band capturing the authenticity of many famous artists. Brian is a singer, songwriter and musician from the New York area. He started his career working with Rupert Holmes, a famous writer, composer, lyricist, arranger and Tony award-winning playwright. He then went on to record an album with his brother in the early 80's, produced by renowned lead singer and organist, Felix Cavaliere from the rock and roll hall of fame inducted band "The Young Rascals".  Some of the projects that Brian has worked on involved "Toto" lead singer Bobby Kimball and legendary singer Ronnie Spector. He has also penned songs for other artists on the Frontier label as well. Brian has performed at many well-known venues in NYC and across the country including a television appearance on the original Star Search back in the 80's. Brian and his band have also opened up for many national touring acts including Grammy winners, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Survivor.
