Contractor Signs
Permits are required for Contractors Signs on lawns.
- $35.00 fee
- A minimum of 5' back from the front property line.
- A maximum of 16 square feet is allowed.
- Sign can stay erected a maximum of 30 days from the permit date.
- A sign application is required at time of permit application.
Garage Sales
- PERMIT FEE $10.00
- One permit within a twelve month period.
- Permit is good for two consecutive days only.
- Sale hours between 9:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.
- No signs are permitted on telephone poles, etc. The only signs allowed are to be on private property where the sale is being held.
- All signs shall be removed within 24 hours.
- Permit card must be displayed.
PENALTY OF ANY CONVICTION OF THE ABOVE
Minimum fine of $25.00 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 10 days for each violation. The Nutley Police Department will assist in the enforcement of the above.
