Resume milling and paving of Bloomfield Avenue from Coeyman Avenue to High Street.
Work to start April 18, 2006 and complete the end of May.
Mill and pave Passaic Avenue from Park Avenue to Chestnut Street. Work to start
late June and complete approximately late August.
Reconstruction of light at the intersection of Park Avenue and Weston Street. Work
to start Mid May and complete approximately in four weeks.
Effective May 1, 2006, a new water billing system will go live. The new system will
provide management with enhanced reports and reduce system software expenses.
Installation of an emergency becon warning light for fire equipment egress onto
Chestnut Street in front of main firehouse. Work to start late June and complete
mid August.
Installation of deco lights replacing current cobra lights on Chestnut Street from
Franklin Avenue down to Town Hall. Work to start late June and complete mid August.
Installation of several automated ticket-dispensing machines in parking lot 1 East
of Franklin Avenue on Williams Street. Work is estimated to start August/ September
and complete October.
Currently in the process of submitting the required paper work to State of New Jersey
for municipal aid grant money to continue the milling and paving work on Bloomfield
Avenue from Raymond Avenue South to Chestnut Street. Also securing grant monies
to purchase a garbage truck for leaf collection and collection of recycling materials,
and monies to purchase a new municipal sweeper.
