The office of the Mayor plans and produces several community celebrations throughout the year.
The Celebrations planned by the Mayor’s Office for 2008 are as follows:
| May 21, 2008 | Memorial Day Parade (in conjunction with the Veterans Council) 11:00 AM |
| July 4, 2008 | July 4th children’s games and Evening Firework Display |
| August 21, 2008 | Swing Night (Produced by Commissioner Scarpelli) |
| Fall 2008 | Family Day Events and Programs |
| December 7, 2008 | Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Holiday Celebration |
